In the last page, I have a photo of some condos with Star Island in the foreground. I mentioned it was a zoom shot. Want to see the wide shot? You do! Great! Here it is!

What can I say other than more condos. Nothing really. Expensive homes in the foreground (10 million bucks may get you a shack on Star Island), condos in the background. And that little boat? More on that later.

In the above photo, you can the end of Star Island closest to the mainland. In the middle ground is the Venetian Causeway, where poor rich people live. By poor rich people I mean people that can only afford a few million for a home - but just can not afford to swing a 10 million dollar home. They have to live on the Venetian. Behind that, you can see the Julia Tuttle Causeway.

This is another shot of Star Island. Just look at those homes! Big huh? Not really. The side of the island that faces the causeway is the bad area of the island. The really rich homes are on the other side, overlooking the bay.

This photo is what you see from the Sports Deck of the Imagination if you look towards the Miami Yacht Club. A whole bunch of boats. Most are sailboats, but there are powerboats in there too. And of course, another condo.

This guy has the law enforcement job I WANT! What does he do all day? Hang out in a powerboat that he does not have to maintain OR pay the gas bill for. There are twin engines, and the hull is nice and solid. All the dude was doing on the day my cruise left was just hanging out keeping other boats from getting too close to the cruise ship. And how many boats did he have to keep away? I counted one. Other than that, it was just chill time. Chill time that he was paid for.

Anyway - it is time to leave! This shot looks down Government Cut towards the turning basin. The ship went to the basin, turned around 180 degrees, then left the cut for the open sea. NEXT STOP - KEY WEST!!!
